Your not the only one. Every gun is different and we are all shooting in vastly different conditions. For instance I was shooting today at 700 ft of elevation on an 82 degree day with 85 % humidity....

I have an Oehler Model 35 and love it. I cannot comment on the CED but a chronograph is the best tool you can buy if you reload.
