I haven't run into this yet, but I'm gonna guess one or a combination of two things. Replace the cutter (turn it 120 degrees for a new cutting edge), and/or go slower on the upstroke.

I think the major drawback, at least with us pistol position gas port guys, is that we don't want a short 4" (?) forend. Size matters, at least in this case :wink:

What is the inside diameter of the necks before seating? As you mentioned, if there is insufficient chamfer on the case necks they can grab and/or dig into the bullet itself.
