well since you mentioned quickload...it shows you needing to reduce the load as 8.1 will be supersonic. The 24" barrel is allowing a better burn.

Personally I like a mil based scope and the IOR would be fine. I'm not sure what you are shooting or at what speed but you my experience puts my 220 SMK's fired at 1050 doing 5.3 mils at 300.
