300 Whisper subsonic rounds with SR Magnum primers?

Anyone use the magnum primers for their loads?

I have a boatload of Wolf SRMs I'd like to use up

Have tried them to see how much difference there is between reg. mag. and spp. All worked real well. Had to slightly lower load with 110 or 296, but they were consistantly all right...

As noted above - there will not be that much difference. Maybe have to drop the powder a little that's all.

"I read it on the interwebs so it much be true......."

I was told by the vendor that the Wolf magnum SR primers are not any hotter, the only difference is the thickness of the cups. Basically, the magnum primers replicate the harder "arsenal" military primers - I use them in all my AR loads.
