Primer Question

I'm still pretty new to reloading and had a question on primers

I have finally have completed building my .300 Whisper, It has a 9" 1:8 twist barrel with a permentaly attatched silencer bringing the total barrel length to 18"

I have found some load data for a 10" barrel (http://listmequick.com/300/Sierra300whisper.pdf) Should be close to what I'll get with my 9" barrel. I already have AA 1680 and 240gr SMK's on hand. The load data calls for 12gr of AA1680 to get 1050 fps from a 10" barrel

Problem I have is that I have plenty of CCI 41's and CCI 450's both of which are magnum primers, but I don't have any standard small rifle primers. I use the CCI41's and 450's in reloading my 6.8

I'd like to keep it simple and only stock one primer. Can small rifle magnum primers be used with subsonic 300 whisper loads? If so any idea how much I need to reduce the powder load to compensate for using a magnum primer?

yes you can use them- I do all the time and I do not adjust my load. The difference has not been an issue for me
