50 Alaskan Subsonic build help needed

Talked to JD Jones, and for case prices, he says the 50 Alaskan is hard to beat if you can live without a bolt action. I have a Ruger No. 1 in 458 Lott that I've been thinking about rebarreling, so the host is already here.

Anyone shoot one of these?

Will the factory Hornady 50 Alaskan reloading dies work?

Anyone make a Form 1 suppressor for a 500 or 510 whisper that will share design ideas?

Load data?

Help appreciated.

The balistics of 510 whisper vs 50 alaskan are close that I would go
50 Ak as the brass is easy to get and cheaper, the 510 whisper
is 338 lapua that needs lathe work.
I have both and like both but I also have a lathe that keeps the cost down
when 510 brass is needed.
If you only plan to shoot subsonic loads then you could get away with
a form 1 aluminum can, but if you plan to shoot full power loads too
then I would advise a steel can.

The Horny dies are what you need for the 50 Alaskan

Thank you for the other suggestion. I have pretty well settled on the 50 Alaskan in a Ruger No. 1. Selling off a few toys to finance the rodeo. Will post results of my project when it comes to be.
