guy was using h110 for subsonics and split his barrel. I figured this would be a good discussion topic. Here is my take on it.
I have always heard that h110 (and lil gun) was very tempormental and should never be loaded lower than 10 percent of the max. This guy was loading approx. 9 grains of powder which is a 35% reduction. I have seen load data suggesting this is a safe load but Hodgdon used to recomend against this. Apparently this is the reason why. Dont ake this wrong, I am not flaming this guy in any way I am hoping we can have a good discussion on the safety of using H-110 in reduced loads and maybe prevent any future mishaps.
