ALL plastic M9

Has anyone ever seen an ALL plastic M9?

My buddy had a shop that had a box of oddball military items, 2 of the items were M9's that were 100% BLACK plastic, blades and all. M9 marked and if I recall correctly Phrobis as well.

The box was sold and shipped out some time ago so I have no photos to post. I have always wondered about them and am finally finding the correct forum to post in.

THANKS!!!

I am pretty sure they were made to practice hand to hand. I have seen one a long time ago.

Airsoft makes sense, some how it made it's way into a box of Demo/EOD stuff.

Hehe, mystery solved.

Thanks!

There is a black plastic training bayonet that was used by the USMC. I have two of them. Both are marked with Phrobis and Buck blade markings. One also has USMC markings on the side of the blade. When I get a chance I'll post some pictures.
