ALL plastic M9
Has anyone ever seen an ALL plastic M9?
My buddy had a shop that had a box of oddball military items, 2 of the items were M9's that were 100% BLACK plastic, blades and all. M9 marked and if I recall correctly Phrobis as well. The box was sold and shipped out some time ago so I have no photos to post. I have always wondered about them and am finally finding the correct forum to post in. THANKS!!! |
I am pretty sure they were made to practice hand to hand. I have seen one a long time ago.

there are severla rubber and plastic models of the M9 for airsoft rifles, etc. these are not ,military items just toys that look right.

Airsoft makes sense, some how it made it's way into a box of Demo/EOD stuff.
Hehe, mystery solved. Thanks! :nanabang: |
There is a black plastic training bayonet that was used by the USMC. I have two of them. Both are marked with Phrobis and Buck blade markings. One also has USMC markings on the side of the blade. When I get a chance I'll post some pictures.

Mike Popernack has one of these for sale on his site and he has a bunch of good photos posted there. Check it out at:
