I thought this over and I have a suggestion... I am going to increase the rent price to $20 and I will cover shipping to every fifth buyer. The way this will work is as follows...
  • I ship the jig at my cost to the first renter.
1st Person uses the jig, when done I collect rent from 2nd person.
1st Person pays shipping to 2nd person.
2nd person uses jig, when done I collect rent from 3rd person.
2nd Person pays shipping to 3rd person
... and so on and so forth ...
5th person uses the jig and returns jig to me so that I can look it over (or to another person at my choice)

If there are less then four people on the wait list then I will need to evaluate how this can work...

I am suggesting this method as it seems stupid for people to pay me to ship the jig to them and then they pay to ship the jig back to me... can we all agree to accept the risks that the next person on the list could be some distance from you and you would simply ship the jig to the next person? This way everybody would only need to pay one shipping and the UPS truck isn't delivering and sending out this jig from my house every coupe days...

Please advise of oppinions.... the problem is that the first shipment was done tonight and shipping was paid by the first renter... we just need a way to do this that is fair... I can refund the first shipping cost and we will all work with the $20 + shipping to next person for now on and that is the way it is going to work for anybody new joining the list unless someone has a good reason to to it another way......

UPDATES AS THE JIG IS USED BY YOU GUYS!

I got an e-mail from Cumberland and he managed to bend one of his flats but he pointed out that I forgot to get the steel bar that is used on the top of the jig to press the flats. I have sent the steel bar out this morning via USPS Priority mail and Cumberland is going to do the rest of his flats this week while I get the steel to him...

Note: It is important to use this bar to prevent damage to the jig. It is the piece shown in the pics that sits between the press bar and the top of the jig. The top of the jig is the parts that forms the uper rails on the receiver so it is important that this does not get bent by the press...

Thanks to Cumberland for letting me know I forgot to add the bar to the box!
