I am working towards putting a 257 STW together for my attempt at 4000 fps.

I have a Savage 7MM STW that I plan on making it a switch barrel gun. I will obtain a Douglas or Pac-Nor barrel chambered and threaded with lock nut, probably about 30" long and in a heavy varmint taper. With a 100 grn Berger or similar bullet I should be able to doe this.

I am iputting my gun fund back together from the 7mm STW purchase and should be able to start this project first of 08.
