I live in an area that I can only use shotguns or pistols. Cans are not allowed at all in MN
That being said, I am using 125 Ballistic Tips out of a 12.5 barrel from J Fettig. Last year was my first hunting with it. I harvested this fawn at 25 yards. Broke the leading shoulder, 3" hole in the ribcage, bottom 2/3 of the heart was gone. Some fragments penetrated to the other side and that is what you see here.

All the adult deer were shot in the chest with very dramatic results. Fauns were head or neck shot with immediate results. This is my buck from this year.
I know you are looking for big bullets going slow but little bullets cooking along do very well also...
