184 price check

Hi people. I'm a long time member of Glocktalk.com under the username WDN. I've been cleaning out some drawers and selling stuff, on Glocktalk, that I don't use anymore. While cleaning, I found my old Buckmaster and wondered if it was something I could get ride of. In searching the net I found this site and figured I would ask you guys what would be a fair asking price without having to do the ebay thing. I've never done the ebay thing and really didn't want to get started since my drawers are almost clean. LMK what you guys think.

It was probably tossed around more then used. I no longer have the compass that it came with and it didn't come with a pouch. I probably didn't know it was supposed to come with a pouch at the time of purchase. I was pretty young at the time and was more focused on the size of the blade. :)

Prices are very hard to estimate... A low price would be $150 based on what I have seen these selling for and if you find the right buyer you might get $200 or perhaps more for the knife...

Do you happen to have the box and paperwork for the knife? If you do that will help the price...

It is a great looking knife... Welcome to the forums!

Thanks for the info. I don't have any paperwork or the box. I guess I'll see if the wife might want to try and ebay it.

I put the 184 up for sale at http://www.glocktalk.com/showthread....hreadid=415567 since that is where I'm known for selling stuff. If anyone is interested, my email is at the bottom of the add.
Thanks,

I got your e-mail but I need to get home to figure out how I will get you your money... I am glad to finally have one of the Patent Buckmasters as I have seen a few really good deals over the past year or two but a nice knife normally sells fast. Yours just managed to sit long enough that you cought me with some extra holiday gift money the wife is willing to let me spend...

Oh yea, I got a really nice Buck USMC M9 in the past few days too... two new knives and there goues my knife budget for the rest of 2005 ;)

Glad to hear it. :) I'm glad I was too lazy to ebay it. I'd rather see someone like you end up with it. Like I said in my email, feel free to call if you have any questions.
