Sounds good to me. I already have 5 flats on hand and four more should be here Friday so this will work out fine. Thanks.

Received the jig this afternoon, everything looks good. I should be able to get over to my friend's shop, use his press, and be ready to ship the jig to the next person by Friday.

Great news... I never got the photos or directions up on the web... do you need them?
Just remember a couple things when you press...
1. NEVER press directly on the top of the jig - That will damage my new jig!
2. When pressing, start slowely moving the jig end to end with a little bit of pressing each time - this will give you a cleaner corner with less streching of the receiver.
3. When bending the top rails over, use a light force as opposed to massive blows... work end to end and you can get he top rail to bend over with very few dents or dings... Make sure you hammer has a clean face and any dents or dings in it will end up in your rail! You may also want to use a good buck between the top rail and the hammer to spread the blow... I have a couple I bent using a piece of steel as a buck and they look as good as any factory receiver...
Otherwise, the directions posted in the thread on bending a Tapco flat is what you need... I will try to get the pics of this new jig up but my time is so limited and I want to get a couple of my own builds done too!

This is out of the blue but I have decided not to bend my flats and I will be selling all my kits and parts. Nothing wrong with the jig, it looks nice, but something else has come up Anyway it is right here in it's box ready to go so I will send it out as soon as I get the address. Thanks for the opportunity to rent the jig, sorry I tied it up for a few days.
(If anybody is interested in what I am getting rid of they can PM me for details.)
EDIT: Things changed and I am keeping my kits now, thanks to all that inquired about them though

What kind of kits, how many? I'll take it all off your hands if the price is right. Let me know a.s.a.p.
Thanks.

Sorry to hear the bad news... are you sure you don't want to still bend your flats as a bent flat will keep for a LONG time...
I am also interested in what you may have but I am likely too far in the red to borrow enough for anything new... Still, PM sent!
