Enforcer should be very close to AA2400. Sierra reload data shows 1200fps for 175gr MatchKing with 11.6gr of AA2400. I would start there and work your way down to subsonic load.

I drilled my gas block with 7/64" bit. Carbine length position, 16" barrel. 11gr of AA1680 is around 1050fps and cycles the action.

Shorter on the Whisper/Fireball or BLK? My 16" SI Defense barrel (stamped 300 Fireball) seems to have a longer throat than the 10.5" Delta Arms 300 BLK.

Ron, do you have info on the ogive or overall length on Remington factory loads? No matter what it is, looks like my Fireball barrel will handle them though.

I did some measurements on the chambers today and to me it seems like this barrel is good to go with factory BLK ammo. I was worried about OAL as for BLK it is 2.26" and for Whisper it is 2.10"....

Unfortunately local powder selection isn't that great. I did pick up a jug of 2400 to try a different powder. Have not been able to find 1680 or N110 anywhere so far.

As long as that's a legal length for a barrel in Iceland, should be good. Even shorter should be fine.

I'm not familiar with the Contender action but have you measured neck thickness? If you're forming from .223 brass you might have to neck turn the cases to be able to chamber.

SI defense barrels are 1.41" so trim length is 1.40". I also have to neck turn .223 cases quite a bit to make them chamber.

Back home in Finland, same thing, and you can get a suppressor over the counter and use it for any game you wish. Wish it was like that here as well. Oh well, at least we can get a suppressor.
