300 Whisper Feed Problem

Hello all
I have a feed problem with my new ar-15 build. I have read a lot and seems to be a few standard ideas going to fix the issue. Increase the gas port size to match the block. Work with the loads for the gun. Change to a pistol gas port system. I have found info about everything but how to do the pistol gas pot. So what would you suggest to do next. Thanks in advance

I drilled my gas block with 7/64" bit. Carbine length position, 16" barrel. 11gr of AA1680 is around 1050fps and cycles the action.
