My 220g subs print exactly 12" under my 125g supers.
I've had good groups with 150g Winchester PSPs.
Would guess they're about 10" over the subs.
125 & 220 are perfectly vertical as I recall. ...

Sierra makes a 125g 30-30 bullet that they actually recommend for the 300W.
It has a flat nose & is designed to expand in this velocity range.
Accuracy is also pretty good w/in 125-150 yards

If the gun is brand new you need to wear it in some.
Either load up a bunch of supers & blast away or sit in front of the tv one night...

My understanding from M1S is that they are using AAC's drawing for 5/8x24 as their standard thread pattern on 300-221 unless you ask for something else.
I sent AAC's drawings to them.

Switched to VV N110 & it is MUCH better!!!!!
I hope they haven't discontinued it as it is I have not seen it any catalogs...

In my gun they are EXTREMELY accurate & only have about a 5% loss of energy. Plus they are cheaper & I like to shoot.
