Since I already have a SIG 551 SWAT in .300 Whisper, I would like to use this cartridge.
I normaly use 220 grains Sierra Pro Hunter bullets, so a 1/10 inch wouldn't stabilize that.

I would say, skip the Remington and get a SIG SHR.
This rifle has an easy to change barrel system.
Get both the .308 and the .223 bolts and get both systems if you like.

Get a workmate and clamp the shelcase CAREFULLY.
Use a Dremel tool to cut off the neck and shoulder.
Release the case and debur it....
