"458 SOCOM" is the copyright of Teppo Jutsu, Marty ter Weeme is main owner and developer of the cartridge and rifles to shoot it. The bolt face of the 458 SOCOM is a rebated design similar to the 284 Winchester. The actual head is the size of a 308. However the body of the 458 SOCOM is much larger than a 308 (or the 284) cartridge. You get the barrel (with chamber), the extension and the bolt if you just buy an RRA 458 SOCOM upper. They are licensed by Teppo Jutsu to sell uppers and complete rifles under the coppyright name. They don't sell "loose" spare barrels, bolts or extensions.. There are other makers of 308 diameter bolts for AR-15s but they're for 308 diameter cartridges like the 6mm and 7mm BR cartridges.
Where to get a reamer? PTG and others can make a reamer to match any drawing you give them. Just don't call it a 458 SOCOM,
Where to get "AR prints" (of the 458 SOCOM chamber)? Make your own using a Cerrosafe chamber casting, caliper/micrometer, and Autocad with an RRA 458 SOCOM barrel, extension, and bolt in hand. I doubt you can get accurate drawings from RRA or Teppo Jutsu. There are roughly dimensioned drawings of the cartridge floating around Google Images but not good enough for a chamber reamer. It is not a SAAMI registered cartridge. Marty keeps a close watch on his baby.
