New 300 Whisper bolt gun (Savage 10FP Choate)

Here is a pic of the finished rifle. Sorry for the poor quality photo. I will upload a better quality pic when I can.

Savage 10FP Choate .223 rebarreled to 300/221.
Choate Ultimate Varmint stock modified to accept full length Dan Hardy Ultra Light Suppressor.
Leupold VX-R 4-12 x 40 CDS Firedot scope mounted with Warne Tactical QR rings.

Nice looking cannon :)

I make Whisper brass here in NZ - give me a shout if you need any or need your own brass processing.

Will have some expanding projectiles made soon also

Good evening, guys,
very nice rig xmanNZ. you might consider using a 20 moa base on your savage if you want to reach 200m.
for the 208 amax, 8.5gr of vita n110 provide 1040fps in my 16" barrel.
but they are not the best flying rounds if seated too far from the beginning of rifling.
try 240 gr match king other wise. there is a box available at hunting and fishing Hamilton on Te rapa.
9.1gr of vita n110 for that one.

That is some nice setup!! Can you get it to eject? Had to change mine to a single shot and get the brass off of the follower. A new extractor will only last 40 rounds or so.
