300 BLK AR barrel suppliers

Guys,

One of my friends is mulling over the idea of building a 16" .300 BLK AR rifle.

My 300/221 16" 1:8 SS bbl was made by tp555. His work is impeccable but my buddy would like to evaluate the options. Who else is listing/supplying 300 BLK barrels for the AR platform?

Thanks,

Mike

I read that CMMG is going to make 300 AAC barrels available for the same price as their standard uppers.

Maybe it's just me, but I can't see spending $1,250+ for just an upper because of someone's name on the side. I will wait until prices become reasonable.

I would be more interested in that pws piston upper in the 8" range if it cycles with subs and had a side charging handle:)

300 blackout

I just got my 16 inch complete upper from noveske 843.00 with shipping and discount. Noveske did a great job and the staff was great. The only problem is no ammo. ACC stated they would get more after the shot show I tried to call and email this week with no answer yet. I saw on silencer talk the it will be sometime in march before more supersonic will be ready, heard that Remington has to do more work on the OAL on some of bullets, Is this true R.Silvers? So with that being said does any body have any super sonic loads for the 300 black out they would like to share? with powder, bullets and the specs Thanks Shawn

H110 will give you the highest velocities. I run a 125 Nosler BT out of my 16" gun at about 2300 fps. It does a great job on deer. The 110 V-max would also be a good choice. 18.5 gr of H110 and a 125 Nosler BT would be a good starting point. Work your way up from there. It's close to max. H110 has a tendency to be rather temperature sensitive so don't run it as hot as you can now and expect it to be safe when it's 95 out.

The Remington 123 ammo is being revised before release - yes, to make it longer OAL. This will delay it for a while. There are plenty of loads coming out soon though from Remington and others. This is in SAAMI now - a bunch of makers are tooling up for it. Sorry it is not happening instantly but before you know it there will be choices.
