New Guy & a Whisper Question

Hi Guys,

I suppose a quick intro is in order. I'm from Western Australia, a beautiful state with the worst possible gun laws imaginable. I am a Maintenance Planner at an Iron Ore Mine in our North, I fly in and out to work 1600klms one way, working 8 days on 6 days off. The roster is excellent giving me plenty of time to follow my interests, Both of which are GUNS!!
I have researched the .300 Whisper and I am very much impressed with what it can do. I hunt in a very noise sensitive area, so a Whisper is pretty much what I am limited to. The one thing I have not been able to find out to my satisfaction is the Whispers suitability to hunting. I am well aware of that there are no projectiles that will expand suitably at subsonic speeds (I will only be hunting at subsonic speeds). So what I am asking is, what are your experiences hunting with the .300 Whisper at subsonic speeds (pros-cons)? And, how reliable is the 240gn SMK to tumble-yaw after impact? I do not wish to wound and lose game, but I do need to hunt under the guide line above.

Thanks for the replys in advance.
