Web site direction

Hello, I am new to this site. It is a Quarterbore site BUT it is more of a knife show site than a a shooting site for the quarter bore. It's a suggestion Consolidate or start a new site for knives etc. , Get the frills of the front page a heck of a lot smaller. Move the Quarterbore pages to the front., BAsically, you need to attract those shooters who use the quarterbore. Meaningful information on reloading, shooting, etc would be a helpful start. Sorry to harp on these items but you have got to address them otherwise this site as a quareter bore will vanish for lack of interest. You might get some sponsors and promote thieir shooting products i.e. stocks, scopes, powder, bullets etc.

Don't wait very long to make a decision on these items, time is very important. Focus the site and go for it.

Good Luck,
21 buck

Hello 21buck,

Welcome to the Quarterbore Forums. If you check the list of topics the QB forums covers you will see it is quite diverse. The owner of the site has many interests and is providing a wonderful service for those of us with similar interests. Although you may not appreciate it, Quarterbore is probably the premier M9 bayonet site on the web. It's much more than a knife show. There is some information here that simply is not available anywhere else on the web or in print.

I personally have no interest in quarterbore shooting. I suggest you do what I do; skip over the posts that are of no interest to you. You have good ideas for building interest with other shooters but you can't expect QB to do all the work. Any registered member can start threads or add to existing ones. "Meaningful information on reloading, shooting, etc would be a helpful start." I'm sure many of the readers here would love to hear what you have to share on these topics. People who come to this site looking for information but aren't willing to share any of their own experiences do nothing to keep this thing alive, they just suck the life out of it. "this site as a quareter bore will vanish for lack of interest" "time is very important" Start posting and get other interested members to do the same. The M9 bayonet collectors have an active group of members who are regularly posting, as do the 300 Whisper shooters. Get your guys to do the same.
