Posts not going through

I posted a couple of 300 whisper threads, and nothing is showing up. Saw one message that said my post needed mod approval. Not sure what the deal is since I've been seeing many others post in that same forum since then.

Help!

Seems fixed now. Weird.

I have the same problem. I posted a question about a bolt action whisper or wildcat alternative and it never showed up.

Forums like this often go moderated after a bunch of spammer's trash the place.

exactly, and a bunch of posts like the OP were caught in the spam trap, Quarterbore has been snowed under for quite sometime& the spammers& hack bots wrecked this place for a while, QB has had to edit& remove Trojans & other code to keep the bots out, & the mod staff has been working Overtime to remove spammers, and all their related posts.
I cannot speak for the others, but I know I deleted more than 1000 spam posts on Friday alone. but I think we have finally got a handle on the backlog& cleanup.

Try avoiding links, email addresses, and including names of electronics and you should have less problems with the traps. Now that we have more moderators I may change some settings so less threads get moderated.

I believe the spam traps also affect low post count members more then those that have been around more.

I'll play with the settings and see if we still have spambot issues. It's the spam bots that cause the problems.
