Making .300/.221 brass from .223 brass

Hey Guys, I’m yet another new .300 Whisper owner here. I was wondering if you guys would critic my method for creating brass. From all my readings here this looks about right.

Step 1: Once fired brass is de-capped, crimp removed, tumbled then FL resized with a Lee .223 die.

Step 2: I run the .223 brass through a Redding .300/.221 trim die, while in the die, I cut to rough length with a Lyman cutter head (with .223 pilot) mounted in a drill press.

Step 3: I trim to final length with a Lyman case trimmer (with .30 cal. pilot).

Step 4: Chamfer and de-bur with an RCBS tool.

Step 5: Run brass through a Redding .300/.221 FL sizing die, with the .30 cal. expander.

I like the set-up with the drill press over the press.
