WTK shoulder angle on 338 whisper

Is the SSK 338 whisper on the 7BR case using the original shoulder angle, or is it something different that you will have to fire form. Thanks for the input.

Should be 30 degrees Bill.
What do you get after feeding one through your FL die?

Hey Spook,
I have none of the components. Just doing the shopping ahead of time. I have a track on some new in box SSK Hornady dies. If I went that route, I need to know what reamer to buy.

Previous calls to PTG suggested they wouldn't just sell you a copy of an SSK reamer. Successfully describing the chamber print of that very reamer will allow me to order it.

Unless you have a different suggestion? My call to CH4D suggested the dies wouldn't be ready for a long time.
Thoughts appreciated,
Bill

This is what I have from Cartridges of the world. Not sure on accuracy.

Cartridge: 338 Whisper
Case Type: C=rimless, bottleneck
Bullet Diameter: 0.338
Neck Diameter: 0.360
Shoulder Diameter: 0.457
Base Diameter: 0.463
Rim Diameter: 0.466
Rim Thickness: 0.048
Cartridge Length: V=various versions exist
Twist: V=various versions exist
Case Length: 1.47
Primer: small

Feel free to agree or disagree on any of the above. If anyone has a chamber print, I'd be in debt to you.
Bill
