Kearney and Trecker Horizontal Mill

I have an opportunity to purchase a Kearney & Trecker model 3HP-24-AC for $300.00. It appears to be in very good shape. It is missing the outboard arbor support (the machine has two approx 3" overarms) and the arbor support slides over the overarms and supports the outboard end of the arbor.
I am putting together a home based job/repair shop and have a Southbed 16" x 60" lathe and a 3 in 1 multi-purpose machine. I really want a vertical mill with power feed and dro to round out the shop but haven't found one yet that I can afford. But along comes this plain horizontal mill.
Please share your opinions, they will be most appreciated.
