Need Help/info With A Ar Upper In .300w

Hey everybody this is my 1st post here. I'm tryn to build or buy an AR-15 upper in .300Whisper but man that barrel has been hard to find! I been backorderd w/Model 1 for months and every time I talk to someone there I get a different story so I have NO faith in them. I already have a set of Redding 300-221 dies and an AAC 7.62 SD and plan to shoot mostly(if not only) heavy(220gr-240gr) sub-sonic loads. This is what I know, or at least what I think I know, I need

*1:8 twist(for the heavy bullets)
*16in bbl
*5/8-24 muzzle thread(for AAC's .30cal quick connect)

So let me have it guys, miss anything? Wrong on anything? Most importantly, WHERE CAN I GET A BBL OR COMPLETE UPPER?????

Try these guys http://www.coastalgun.com/ they sell 9mm complete uppers. I have ordered a complete .300 whisper suppressed ar15 from them and they have many in stock, so I would imagine they would sell just an upper. their complete .300 is cheaper then their 9mm for your info.

I can personally vouch for tp555's work. He did both my 223 and 300-221 uppers. I haven't busted the cherry on the 300-221, but the 223 upper will put bullets through the same hole at 100 meters.

Also he will give you the 5/8-24 threading with thread protector so long as you remember to specify it in the order. I think he defaults to Douglas Premium barrels in 1:8 twist if you don't specify. Best to ask. He will also put the gas block / port in the pistol position. You might like his three way blocks.

As long as barrel extensions are available, he should hook you up fairly quickly.
