I agree with Lee!
There are still around 1000 or so chevrons out there, but.....how many of them were eventually destroyed or lost, after more than 20 years?
In my opinion, what happens on ebay auctions is not a general "rule", and should not always be considered when discussing about the rarity of a bayonet.
I still believe the chevron (numbered or un-numbered) is a very rare and collectible M9.
