Phrobis INT'L with no SPAIN

My apologies if this is a repeat, but I am unable to find my original post.

We are Troy and Lori Zaumseil and we live in Anchorage Alaska. Troy's uncle has given him a fairly nice sized collection of knives. We are not collectors, and will be choosing a few to keep for sentimental reasons--the rest we intend to offer for sale. We have done some research on the M9 Phrobis Bayonet and are at a loss to find a match anywhere to help us identify it. It is stamped with the patent number on one side and on the other it is stamped
M9
Phrobis Int'l

There is no "spain" stamp underneath....we cannot find any other Phrobis International knives that do not have the Spain stamp. Is it possible this knife is a fake? Could it be a prototype? Any help would be appreciated. It is currently listed on Ebay, but we are considering withdrawing it, because we are not sure it's authentic. We would appreciate any information!!

Item #290175088226

Thank you

Troy and Lori
