Plinker7.62s Rivet Press: The ultimate press for AK Rivets

Plinker7.62s Rivet Press

This is one of those tools that look so handy that you just need to buy one and I kept putting it off as I built up the rest of my shop tools. Well, I finally decided that I needed to add one of these to my collection as well!

Following are some pics from Plinker762 himself... I have received my own Jig and it has a few new features that are different then the jig shown below. I have not had the chance to get the jig into good light to take more pics and I have been busy with other projects so I have not gt to form rivets with this yet but I hope to do something about that soon!

If you are interested in buying one of these jigs, please contact Plinker7.62 (his contact info is in the following post copied from the old board).

Following are some pics of one of Plinker's Jigs

... he also posted in this thead three posts down :P

She does countersinks:

And she crushes rivets!

Here is a bucking bar used with this jig:

Here is an example of some finished rivets:

Here is a post with drawings and specs that plinker shared...

Same deal here as your other post... when you talk to Plinker762 try to get him to rejoin and post here... He was a member back before the original board got hacked and we had to start over... I also know that he travels a great deal and he makes these in his "free" time so be patient as it is worth the waite!
