New to the Board...and happy I found it!

Well, I finally saved up enough money and purchased a Registered Lightning Link. I sent the paperwork to ATF today, so Hopefully within 4-6 weeks I'll have it in my hands.
Since my purchase, I have been searching the net for info on the RLL. I was very happy when I came upon this forum.
I did previously visit Quarterbore's webpage, but i never looked through it enough to realize he also had this forum.

My new RLL will come with a select fire kit (Very excited about this). I already have my host gun picked out.... (The new POF-USA lower Gen2 with the m-16 full auto markings) I don't know if anyone else has checked these out...But they look great.

All that is needed at this point is to mill my bolt carrier to SP-1 specs. I read somewhere that the trip surface is supposed to be .38" from the rear of the carrier. A normal carrier is .40" Can anyone verify this.

Anyway...I'm sure i'll have more questions after I get the RLL.

I live near York, PA...If anyone is close-by....Drop me a PM or email.

I am actually not all that far (I live just outside of Valley Forge PA)...

As for your carrier, I would send a new Bushmaster Carrier to M60Joe and have him mill it for you:

That way you will have a brand new carrier that will last you forever and you know you are starting with a good quality tool!

Welcome to the club!
