How to install Drop In Auto Sear

Hello:

I'm reside outside of the U.S and we have a problem with a proyect with a AR15 type rifle.

We have the parts to convert to M16 (Trigger, Disconector........) and a DIAS (we have Full Auto guns permised and DIAS are legaly in our contry)

But we don't know how to proceed to install the DIAS, first will be the DIAS or first we install the parts (trigger, fire selector....)???

All request will be for help in our proyect

Thanks for all!

I have never handled a DIAS or installed one so my advise should be taken as such! Just the same:

You need to get the M-16 fire control parts in for the DIAS to function so do that first. Then install the DIAS around the rear take down lug and check the timing of the DIAS.

There are instructions on how you would time a DIAS on my website here:

I ran your IP address and see you are in Spain? Are civilians allowed to have machineguns in Spain or do you work for the Spanish Government?

Good Luck!

auto sear

if you have a mil spec ar lower and all m16 parts just drop it in and your done when you close the upper together the sear is held in place by the lower locking pin . if i may ask why not by a full auto from the manf. if you can own you can by. the dias was made so people could break the law some were pre 86 and had a form 1 done on them

First put your trigger parts in then slide the m16 carrier in, next hold the DIAS in your finger with the lever pressed and slide it over the rear lug with the paddle over the tail of the M16 carrier Close the upper and install the pin back in and you should be ready to go!
Just be careful that your paddla is over the Carrier when you close it so as not to bind anything up inside the gun.
Shoot safe ang enjoy!!!
