Took the NVRS plunge

Unlike some of you I do not have a $1500+ to drop on a NVRS.
Just bought a Yukon Tactical 2.5x50 ($599).

Is it great? I don't know.
I do know it's a hell of a lot better than what I had which was nothing.
Will hopefully field test in the next week or 2.
Seems very well made & w/addition of their Infrared Flashlight ($109) it sees very well in total darkness.
Bought to hog hunt w/@ night & may only get to use a few nights a year.
W/that in mind it seems like an excellent investment.
The Gen 1 stuff is always getting slammed & I've been told to wait until I can save up enough for Gen 2 or 3. That's not going to happen w/a kid going to college this year & another one in hopefully 2 years.
From what I can tell it looks like it will do what I need.
I'm not an "operator" just an average Joe looking for a way to hunt more.
I suggest if you're on the fence, get one & use it this season. We're all getting older & the longer you wait the less hunting you'll do.
