300 newby

newby to the 300, have been lurking from glockpost.com(reloading forum, been rolling my own 45acp for alittle while now), just finish setting up my reloading bench for the 300 whisper, got my cases and assorted stuff , gun should be arriving today or monday, went with model 1 sales , seems I may have some issues to work out with it after reading some post here, anyway howdy fella's, hope to be picking your brain for some info thanks in advance...

ok the first issue is M1S did not send all the stuff I ordered will have to call them monday, here we go, how do mess up such a simple order?? well I got alot of cases that need to be reworked anyway . hope M1S customer service is ok , any experiences with them ???

Another newbie here with a new M1S upper. No problems with my order, so I haven't had to deal with there Customer Service. So far I have only shot a few 150 sp loads using up some 2400. Having the same issues with cycling that others have reported on other posts. Will try the AA1680 next.
No plans for a can here. Missouri just approved them here so, I'll wait to see how it goes for now.
Hope you have your order fixed soon.

welcome to both of you.
i bought a used M1S upper. the po worked out all the bugs then his needs changed. it works great for me. only thing i've gotten from them is a pistol/carbine buffer kit. works great too.

after working up about 200 rounds of brass today(cutting down .223) man thats some work alot different than the 45acp, bet you I dont leave not one peice of brass ever when shooting, will search high and low to find them cause I have too much time/work involved in them to lose them,

i use one of those brass catchers strapped to the handguard.

I got one of those brass catchers imediately!!!!!! Best invention ever. Untill .300W goes main stream....then that thing is history.

when shooting form the bench I use a small dip net in a home made vertical holder to catch my brass. Had the gun mounted bag cause some jams...
