CH dosen't tell you, but you need a ram extension to get the case up into the die. RCBS makes 2 different lengths, I think mine is 1 1/2" which is longer than I needed. I also had to cut the top of my die down for cutter clearance so I could hit my trim length. This is the only way to make Whisper brass.
I've had a set of CH4D dies for a while and I'm pretty happy with them. As noted the trim die is a little short but its hard to be otherwise with a case this short. I've heard the RCBS dies are good too but you have to get them through ssk.

What press does this apply to? I have a Dillon 650 that I am getting set up. There is a video on Youtube of a guy making 300 Whisper brass with a Dillon multistage. He shortened a .308 trim die.
So can I set it up on a RCBS Rock Chucker w/extended die base?
Does it (C&H's Dillon trim dies for 300 Whisper) cut & chamfer inside & outside of case mouth @ same time or are these separate steps?
