Bullit drop question

I finally got ma can yesterday. When I sighted in, using a halo sight at 100yd, I would shoot 3" high at 50 yd. Should it drop that much in fifty yards ?
I'm shooting 220 gr Match King over 9.1 of H110.

Are there any bullit drop charts for the .300 Whisper

Thanks

I just threw this in Sierra Suite 5:
1040fps, 1.5" sight height, zero at 100.

Yes, that is correct. What you see is probably normal. Because its so slow, it drops off pretty fast. I am supprised how at only 10 yards its almost at zero then not until 100 yards.

A .223 will shoot low at 50 yards when sighted in at 100, its much faster and is still on its way up in its arc.

Here is a free ballistics calculator so you can see what your loads will do:

If I'm dead on @ 100 yards w/supersonics, I crank in 13"-14" up elevation before I shoot 300-221 & then hold dead on @ 100y bullseye w/subs.
