So what's the consensus on the quietest can for the 300W?

I'd like to hear what you think is the quietest muzzle suppressor for the 300 Whisper. For subsonic use? For supersonic use? Maybe the one that performs the best in both modes?

I was reading silencertests, and it got me thinking. The SRT Shadow is generally regarded as one of, if not the most efficient 30 cal suppressors on the market. Yet I read a thread over there that said the SWR Omega spanked the Shadow when using subsonic ammo. So maybe the SRT is a pressure-happy can, best suited for full-power .308Win. But the Omega might be a better can for .300 Whisper?

I heard the same thing about the Shadow. Might have read the same thread.
DGA has some on sale, basically a 9mm suppressor with 30 cal baffles. Its just 12" long.

I have been shopping for a while, I also like the ACC Cyclone-k and the YHM 9mm wraith XL. My local class 3 guys suggests the YHM.

I also have a 308 so I am torn between a 9mm suppressor and a 308 suppressor.

I wish someone could shoot all the silencers with 300 whisper rounds to compare.

My dealer has a YHM Phantom. I shot it, and it really sounds quiet, so I've got one comming. I've not compared it, but this sounds good to me.

I shot my 762SD w/Whisper on Silencer Research Video & it metered around 121-122 w/subsonic loads & accuracy has been excellent w/it on.
That's about like a .22 pisol w/can

Thanks for the feedback, guys. I saw that vid of the 762 can. That was pretty impressive. Have you compared it on .300W and .308Win to any other cans?

Shot on PTR 91 in .308 & it was very pleasant to shoot.
Greatly reduced recoil.
I especially like that it is QD.
