Thanks for the info on that....I can see a slight difference in the powders but not much. I realized a bit too late that the powder I really meant to ask about was H4198. I was talking with a friend who does a lot of loading about powders and we were talking about the W296 but what he handed me to try is the H4198. He suggested it for the heavier bullets and said it is used in a lot of stuff like .44 mag and other pistols shooting heavy bullets. He thought it might be good for the 180gr + stuff partly because its bulkier than the H110 or W296. .... any thoughts on that???
I see that the H110 loads in the 7-10gr range are about half case loads. Probably not a big deal with 220gr projos that fill a good portion of the case but I'm guessing that with the 150gr and lighter crowd there is a lot of room for powder to wander and create inconsistancy.
