Rem 700 stock q?

I have a ga precision 300 in a hs police stock. Are there any companies making a stock simmilar to a aics with a detach mag system for 223 size actions? If not, how well does the hs precision 223 detach mag system work?

There are not many options for detachable mags for the Rem 700. I have a couple of the H-S Precision units for the 308 and I really like it. I have a small collection of both the 5 and 10-rd mags.

I hear a lot of people complaining that they rattle but I have never really had a problem. The mags are well made and they always feed great.

For my own Remington 700 300 Whisper project however, I went with the normal Rem 700 BDL mag hinged floorplate assembly so I really don't how how well the 223 mags will work with the 300 Whisper. It should work fine but I can't say I use them.

Good Luck!

Thanks for the info, I may just end up cranking out a aluminum rail stock om my mill. The more I think about it the easier it seems but the only problem would be finding a mag "10-20 round mag"to fit the reciver without modification.... Any ideas? I am thinking a aics type but with a ar grip and possibly a ace folder, hell I may be better off just building a short upper for my sbr ar :/
