Is Mr. Davis still doing brass?

I saw his info on here a few times in the past as well as elsewhere. I emailed him before and after christmas because I was worried the email was lost in the shuffle. Does anyone know if he still makes 300 whisper brass?

I believe he said he would not longer be selling via email, he did indicate that he would from time to time sell it on ebay.

Well this is a show stopper. I am nowhere near setting up to make my own brass yet so I guess I will be holding off on 300 for a few more months until I can get a superswage plus trimmer.

Kogashuko,

This should not be a show stopper. I use a Foster power trimmer and can make reform/size and trim to length about 100 round in about 2 hours.

CH Tool and die is making a run of .300 Whisper sizer dies for the Dillon case trimmer which will size and trim in one operation. I figure worst case I may have to use a full length sizer to square things up afterwards. They started the batch the end of last year and they should be done soon. I will let you know how it works. Mr. Davis still owes me brass that I ordered last year right before he quit. He contacted me in August last year saying he would be shipping and I still haven't seen anything. I better send him another letter, he dosen't answer emails. He was trying to retire and recover from an IED he hit in Iraq last I heard from him.
