.300 Whisper Sub-Sonic pressures equal to 9mm?

I'm researching to see if I can have a custom suppressor made for the .300 Whisper. I've read that a 9mm suppressor is able to handle the pressures of the .300 Whisper Subsonic round. Is that true?

The can I want is essentially going to be a 9mm can with a smaller bore and maybe an extra baffle to add more volume.

My Form 4 for my .30 cal can is in process. The only disadvantage of this can is the weight (around 28oz, I think). It'd be great if there's a 10oz can strictly for the sub-sonic whisper.

The reduced I.D. 9mm can would work with the .300 at subsonic pressures. I was in this same situation and decided to get a titanium can. My Thundertrap is a great can for supersonic, but its heavy and I believe it adversely affected my subsonic accuracy. My Jet titanium can is only 12 oz and it can go on my AR Whisper and my AR-10 carbine. Jet has had some poor customer service recently and they moved to a new building, but they make a good product. They won't consistently answer emails or phone calls and I've waited 10 months so far. I hope this is a temporary issue due to their move. You could also look at Quick Silver Manufacturing for titanium cans. With the weak dollar and metal prices I'd buy stuff like this now before another increase.
