This is the first Auto Connector made by the famous Max Atchisson. When the ATF declared that having too many M16 parts in your AR15 made it a machine gun, Max decided to design a device which would allow full-auto fire without using any M16 parts. This very item is what resulted.
Max Atchisson is noted for inventing the Auto Connector, Atchisson AA12 shotgun, and AR15 .22 conversion kits sold by MAC, Atchisson and Ceiner, He also had many other patents and inventions.
This Auto connector works fine in my DPMS and Century lowers. Comes with two paddles hand-made by Max Atchisson.
This should really be in a museum somewhere, but I find myself needing to sell it. This is a once in a lifetime to own the inventor's prototype of a historic NFA item. There is not a second prototype. All the others were production models by SWD, or made by aftermarket manufacturers.
I bought this from the estate of Max Atchisson, and there is documentation to attest to its provenance.
Price is $8500 up front, and I'll pay first transfer. I will accept 50% up front with balance due upon approval of transfer if buyer pays all transfer costs. Will transfer on a Form 4.
