both of these helmets are rated for stopping .44 magnum rounds while weighing under 3 lbs. These are great for reservists or support units being shipped to Iraq with obsolescing PASGT helmets. they are lighter, have better chinstraps, and more comfortable suspension systems than the 80's era Kevlar helmet. They still use all standard PASGT helmet covers.
First helmet is a Large Second Chance "commando" helmet. BLACK, level 3A. I replaced The factory chinstrap with an SDS 3 point chinstrap. attached is a Paulson MFG riot face shield. used, great condition. I only ever used it as a hard had, minor shelf wear. $200 for helmet and shield, $180 for the helmet alone, or $20 for the riot shield alone.
second helmet is a Large, green, RBR "Combat" helmet. Its dated April 2002. I bought it before Boot camp and never used it in the field because I was issued a 3A helmet in the fleet. It shows minor storage wear, it's in very good condition. for more information please check out
