I finally own a 300 Whisper T/C Contender upper (Time to buy a frame)

I have been looking for a Contender barrel in 300 Whisper for a couple years and often the barrels just were more then I wanted to spend or they sold before I got the chance...

Well, tonight I feal like I fell into it as this little bugger was listed:

It was quite a bit of money but with the 2x Leupold M8 2x stainless scope, leupold mount and rings this became a bargan.

I want this to hunt deer so no worries with the fact that this will have the slower 1:10 twist thread of the T/C barrels.

Now I need to learn about T/C frames as I want to buy one of the earlier ones where I can adjust the trigger... plus I want it in stainless. I am REALLY HAPPY!

Now, Rem 700 LTR clone in 300 Whisper with the T/C Contender in 300 Whisper. I had better get the reloading stuff set up as I am real anxious!

I got the contender upper today and it really looks great... I decided I am going to buy a Stainless G2 lower or possibly a complete G2 pistol. I would love to fine a 221 Fireball or 223 pistol upper to use for Groundhogs in the spring...

I even cleared out a spot on the bench for the reloading stuff....
