That's what I will do after christmas break. I ordered a 200 gn mould and will start casting over the break.

I've done it with my 9x19 can and based on the amount of junk in the suppressor (which I can take apart to clean) - I won't be doing it with my Cyclone (sealed - uncleanable can). I wish I had found a 30 caliber can that I can clean that performs well.

I someday may form 1 a can that I can disassemble to bead blast so that I can do cast bullets with the 300/221 fireball.

call mideway usa and get 147g fmj for 8.50 a 100 my best load is 8g of 2400 they work great. i wish i had all the money i spent on 220 smk know i know its a little louder through the can at 1100 fps but for range ammo its great and it doesnt cost me $15 a mag over the years ive tryed cast bullet what a mess pluged gas tube

ARRRGG!!!! Forgot about the gas tube....and my expensive gas block.... scratch the hardcast Idea.....

I shoot cast in my M1 garand. True, you do need to tweak stuff in order to get away with zero leading but its definitely possible. I got best performace with WWCW and gaschecks with a homemade lube. I'm waiting on my del-ton uper and I plan to try cast.
