Just tighten against the barrel. One set screw isn't enough. If you want to pin and have the equipment to do it right use the set screws for dialing in the sight.
Then drill and ream for the pins.regards.

Thanks for the help. As soon as the holidays are over and I get the extra time I'll start in on it and let you know how it goes.

If you have a camera, try to get some pics as this is something that people ask about doing all the time. I have a Colt Blue label upper that I have thought about redoing just so I could get the photos of the process but over the past couple years I have just had so little time to play armature gunsmith.

My only advise is to make sure you shoot it before you drill it (with the set screw) because as suggested above if you are off by a little bit you will run out of windage in a hurry.

I would bring a scribe and mark the gas block and the barrel when you have it where you want it as you may have trouble with it wanting to move on you when you drill it too.

I will certainly take pics of the process. I know I have been asking on a few different forums on some tips on how to go about changing the FSB, so I'm sure a tutorial will help out other people. As soon as I get the time to start the project I will take pics and get them sent to you, Quarterbore.
