Newbie help

A friend of mine has purchased himself a lathe, and is looking for books to help him operate/learn. I have hepled him set it up true, and have explained to him basic operations. But I have found out quickly Im no educator. I cannot find any of my early text books from when I went to school. Do you guys have any suggestions? Books or videos?

Thanks, Jim

I think this will give a good basic overview:

It has everything I know about running a lathe at least!
