Help Mounting Motor On Old Craftsman

I have a 12" Craftsman I just got and I am having trouble mounting the motor. It sits on a mount behind the headstock. My problem is there is a dust cover on the motor, and with that on, the motor pulley won't go far enough to reach the belt that drives the other pulleys. Please help! lol

Thanks,
Matt

Cool

Is your late a 101. ? You will prob have to move the mount back to clear the motor and use a longer belt. You may need to add another plate to give some motor room and bolt that plate to the factory mount...Bob
