I knew it was only a matter of time before someone started to copy this bayonet. With the photos and information posted here it makes it easy for dishonest people to make copies. Next they'll be trying to sell them to unsuspecting collectors.

This bayonet is 100% original ,Why to say it is "COPY"??

The scabbard makes me suspicious of the whole thing, the marine crest would get in the way of the blade when it is in the scabbard, the USMC badge is spurious, and the webbing looks all wrong. But if Bill says its a copy, I will not argue with him, and we ahve seen very good copies on here before typically given away by fine details

I'm questioning the blade tang that Mr. Moon pointed out in his first post. I haven't had a chance to pull one of mine out yet to compare to the photo. As Mr. Moon requested, it would be good to see a full length photo of the blade.
